Tamper Coffee’s Earl Grey Sour
50ml Sir Robin of Locksley® Gin
50ml Freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
25ml Earl Grey Syrup
Shake all the ingredients well with ice and strain into a chilled highball glass.
Garnish with a slice of lemon.
To make the Earl Grey Syrup, pour 1 litre of boiling water over 4 Yorkshire Earl Grey teabags (Taylors of Harrogate or similar.) When the tea has sufficiently brewed, simmer 1 part of the tea with 1 part granulated sugar until the latter has dissolved. Cool to ambient temperature before mixing with the other ingredients.
