Yorkshire Cosmopolitan

You know we at Locksley don’t do anything the “usual” way, so we set our resident New Yorker in Yorkshire, Cynthia, to create the drink.

All you will need for the Yorkshire Cosmopolitan:

• • 45ml Sir Robin of Locksley Gin
    
  • 15ml Morocello
    
  • 15ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 15ml Rhubarb Syrup*
  • 45ml Cranberry Juice

Shake all the ingredients with plenty of ice in a cocktail shaker till chilled, fine strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with orange zest.

*Rhubarb Syrup is quite simple, chop fresh (Yorkshire) rhubarb and put in a bowl. Cover with granulated sugar. Stir and wait (at least a couple of hours, overnight is even better). The sugar will draw moisture out of the rhubarb and become a lovely pink syrup.
