Coach and Horses: Friar Tuck’s Full English

We recently co-hosted a cocktail throw-down with Thornbridge. Staff from all of their pubs competed in two categories: gin cocktails, and beer and gin cocktails. We weren’t sure what to expect from pubs that are primarily known for great beer; we were truly impressed with every entry. It was a tough field, but Oliver’s breakfast martini was the clear overall winner.

50ml Sir Robin of Locksley Gin
25ml Cointreau
25ml Lemon Juice
30g Orange Marmalade

Muddle marmalade and lemon juice in a boston shaker until marmalade is dissolved. Add SRoL gin and Cointreau. Add ice and shake well. Double strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a flamed orange peel.
